The House of Bosch

Jheronimus Bosch is everywhere! From the spring of 2022, Jheronimus Bosch will have his own house in De Kleine Winst on the market in 's-Hertogenbosch, just like Vincent van Gogh, Rembrandt and many other celebrities: The Bosch House. The municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch, in collaboration with the with the Jheronimus Bosch Art Centre, has transformed this beautiful, centuries-old building into a pearl of culture. 

Experience the history of the city of 's-Hertogenbosch in the Middle Ages. Walk in and climb the very same medieval stairs that Jheronimus walked up and down for years. Feel what Jheronimus must have felt when he lived here. In the Bosch House, you are transported back in history and the time of Bosch comes to life. Experience at first hand a breathtaking mix of old building styles and let new multimedia techniques take you into the life of Jheronimus Bosch as a child and as a diligent pupil of his father, in the house where he developed his exceptional drawing and painting talents. 

On every floor of the fully restored, monumental Bosch House, modern multimedia techniques bring to life how Jheronimus Bosch and his family lived and worked. Many people still remember the retail space on the ground floor from De Kleine Winst. The room in the secret annex has been restored to the nineteenth-century look it once had.
